Flight Lesson With Tim – Cancelled

Good morning everyone on a not so jolly Sunday here in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We had thunderstorms with gusting winds last night and it’s still pretty cloudy this morning even though it’s not raining and the temperature is 57 F. I checked the weather early at about 5.00 am and found that the clouds were low at that time and were forecasted to be low by the time I was scheduled to fly at 8.00 am. I was however optimistic and hoped the weather would get better. I checked again at 6.53 am and found the weather conditions displayed below. So I text messaged Tim at 7.03 am:

Tiger: “Hello Tim, it looks like the cloud ceilings are too low to do any flying today. I don’t think they’re going up anytime soon.”

Tim: “I agree. Maybe next time…”

Tiger: “Yes it would have been great to fly with you again. Shall I call the school and cancel?”

Tim: “Sure”

Tiger: “Okay Tim thanks. See you at Thunderbird sometime”.

I then immediately called the school spoke with Kelsey who cancelled today’s flight lesson.
